C/O NABARD, HO, BANDRA-KURLA COMPLEX , MUMBAI Change in the system of PAR Recording We have come to know that the bank has decided to effect sweeping changes in the system to be adopted for recording of PAR recording. It is ironic to note that though the proposed change shall be directly affecting the career prospects of the officers and it may lead to certain ambiguities too , the bank has not deemed necessary to even mark a copy of the circular to NBOA for its information and internal debate. In fact , NBOA expected that it would have been consulted even before a decision was made so that a wider consensus on the issue could have been arrived at. Though the final parameters of PAR recordings are yet to be finalised by the bank , going by the format devised by the bank to undertake the ‘mid term review’ , we are constrained to note that the system adopted doesn’t augurs well with the corporate profile governing the operations at NABARD. We , therefore , request you to discuss with NBOA the proposed changes and till that time put the proposal PAR recording on hold.
